Guitar Hero World Tour

I've never been as crazy into the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games as a lot of people I know, but the newest game to sport the Guitar Hero brand, Guitar Hero World Tour is tempting. Especially when it's on sale at Dell.com. For the full package (game, guitar, drums, microphone), it's normally $189.99, but today it's $171.79 including tax, shipped. http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/15265

What makes this game different is that they actually made the drums more like a real set. Playing on Expert Mode is pretty much a drum simulation, so it's a whole lot more fun for a real drummer than the previous GH/RB games that had drums. It also has singing, which I love, and guitar/bass, which is fun, but I tire of easily. It's hard to justify spending that much money right now, though. Hopefully Black Friday will bring a deal at least this good.

I'd be all about RB myself, at least that's where my loyalties lie.

If you want WT, wait a bit for "new" drums to come out as ALOT of people are having problems with them.

The drum tuning app and free midi/usb should solve the GH:WT drum problem. I've already sent for my cable.

Personally, though, I still prefer RB/RB2 to GH:WT.

What kinda problems? The ones at Best Buy were broken about 2 days after they put it out, so I got to play it about once.

Just basic sensitivity problems. The drum tuning app and free cable should solve the problem.
